Bluegrass BBQ is located at various spots around Brisbane, and we are looking at expanding and adding more restaurants and delivery options in the future. The various roles available at Bluegrass Barbecue may present themselves in the following current locations:
- Albion
- New Farm
- Eatons Hill
We offer dine-in and Takeaway Service, and require team members to fill a range of positions. We constantly rotate our menu to keep the favourites though and keep our customers and staff interested in what we do!
About you
Do you like to make delicious food? Can you handle serving burgers that are bigger? We are looking for team members who can create a friendly, approachable, warm, inviting, and above all, fun atmosphere in each of our restaurants.
Our customers and their enjoyment are our primary focus, and we take the food we serve very seriously.
We are particularly interested in hearing from those who have BBQ, kitchen or kitchen-hand experience, as well as bar work, front-of-house service experience and any other food or hospitality experience. Would you like to join a team that has decades of experience as Pit Masters? Our Barbecue is based on recipes that have been honed over four generations. It’s authentic, American soul-food.
It’s safe to say we know what we are doing, and we are looking for the right team members to join the ranks. We love preparing good food and design the menu ourselves. It the goal of every team member here at Bluegrass BBQ to ensure that everyone who walks through the door of any of our restaurants gets the best of the best!
We are modern-day hillbillies who have a great passion for the flavours we create. We think the result is the best BBQ in Brisbane that the whole family can enjoy. If you are energetic and capable of having fun while producing high-quality work, you’ll make a great fit!

Our BBQ sauce
Another significant element of our menu and staple of the bluegrass BBQ brand is our BBQ sauce. We make our own signature barbecue sauces, and there are currently five to choose from. Should you become a member of our team, you’ll be privy to our recipes that are four generations old. Our current sauce range includes:
Texas barbecue sauce which is bold and buttery
Our Kansas City BBQ that is sweet and smoky
The Memphis sauce has a little heat
Our Bourbon BBQ sauce that is sweet and boozy
The Pucker sauce which is sharp and tangy
